Finally, it wouldn't be a conversation with Ryan if we didn't cover the regulatory landscape. Please enjoy this conversation with Ryan Selkis.

Background and Early Days in Crypto

Eric
So I'm very excited today to have Ryan Selkis on the podcast. For those people that don't know Ryan, the best analogy I can give is I feel like I'm talking to the Google of crypto. Ryan is one of the most prolific writers in the space, and he's been in the space for quite some time. Wrote 165 page Outlook, it took 250 hours. I'm excited to jump into your Outlook, especially now that a lot of it has become true, even with just a little bit of time passing. But before there, I just wanted to start your earliest parts of you entering the crypto space. You have a lot of knowledge that I don't think everyone who listens to this podcast has. Foundationally, when you got into crypto, how did you start? Where did you work? I'd love to hear the Mt. Gox story that you broke because I think it's one of the most famous stories in crypto.
