School’s Out For Summer

Introduction

Rick
All right team, after a few months of dormancy, we are back. And I think the first question, Paul, is where the heck have we been? We've taken the summer off and that is not because we don't love all of you and have not thoroughly enjoyed this podcast journey so far. It's been, in part by design, I think as all of you know, in some ways, this podcast is a little unique in the way that it's designed as more of a class.

And just appreciating the seasons and cycles of an academic calendar, I think we had always expected to take some time off during the summer to just reset and absorb the learnings and think about the pivots we need to make in order to improve things going forward. Very similar to how we handle our class we physically teach in the fall. But we've also been thrown a few curve balls on the family front that slowed things down. We'll come back to that.
