Scribe. Scribe is the presenting sponsor of this episode of Making Media and the magic behind the Colossus transcripts. One of the best decisions we made at Colossus was transcribing all of our audio into a searchable transcript library. We had been using another provide up until the summer of 2022 but we were constantly having issues with the accuracy if our audio was just the slightest bit impaired. Whether it's training sessions, internal Q&As, or for media purposes, the value of transcripts is huge. And we are not alone. Scribe is the transcription service that powers all of S&P Global - like CapIQ - and the client list includes our friends at Tegus. Go to joincolossus.com/scribe to unlock 150 minutes of free transcription and test their capabilities.

A Workshop on How to Podcast

Introduction

Matt
All right. Welcome back to Make Media. I'm Matt Reustle. I have Dom Cooke, by my side. We're testing a new format today. You will hear our conversation with NPR legend Eric Nuzum shortly. And we have our famous debrief at the end of the show. But before we get at there, we have heard your feedback. You want the open flow of information coming from Colossus.

So we're going to lead off with some items you've been asking about or items we think you'd find interesting and we’ll be asking about. So Dom, I just want to start off thanking you for bringing this idea to life.

Inside Colossus

Dom
Anytime. I'm a John Fio-type character, if you haven't listened to that Invest Like The Best, his whole premise is that ideas are everything and execution is nothing. I'm fully behind John, and that's how I live my life, my three things out there. Matt executes on them, I try and take the glory.
