Introduction

Matt
This is Matt Reustle, and we are back in the world of aviation today breaking down Embraer. Our guest is Richard Aboulafia, Managing Director at AeroDynamic Advisory and longtime aviation analyst and consultant. Richard helps explain this Brazilian success story, which he sums up very perfectly early on. Don't try this at home. We get into that origin story of Embraer and how they differentiated themselves against the aerospace giants that we know, Boeing and Airbus.

We cover regional market dynamics, that broader supply, demand dynamics in the aerospace market and much more. And we're sure to talk about the unique opportunity presented by Boeing today. As Richard puts it so well, it take a bet-the-company type approach if they are going to go after Boeing's market position. Whether or not it's realistic, it's very fun to think about. So please enjoy this episode. And again, it pairs well with the replay that we ran earlier this week on Boeing.
