Kingspan: Influential Irish Insulation

Introduction

Dom
This is Dom Cooke and today we are breaking down the Irish business that has become the global leader in insulation products for buildings. The business is called Kingspan. It was founded in 1965 and has a market cap of some EUR 13 billion.

If you haven't heard about Kingspan, you've probably been within or at least seen their work. The bulk of their business comes from insulating big commercial new-builds. Tesla Gigafactories, Apple's headquarters, the Emirates Stadium in London, all places where you'll find Kingspan's products.

And over the years, they've evolved to produce other products that are also designed to help make buildings more energy efficient. To break down this business, I'm joined by Nick Griffin, the Founding Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Munro Partners.
