Introduction

Rick
Boys, welcome to the Art Of Investing. Where to begin? I think the question on many minds is why are Canadians so happy? I mean it's dark, it's cold. Is it the maple syrup or what are we missing there?

Rick
The Canadians are nice, but they also have shown themselves to be resourceful at times. And Paul and I were just talking about this. Our good, mutual friend, Will Thorndike a couple of weeks ago -- I guess, over the holidays, Will decided to pull out the spreadsheet and do an analysis of what he refers to as long-term returns of extreme decentralizers.
