Locker Rooms and Living Rooms

Introduction

Ravi
If this goes far enough, do you think we could get you Udonis on? I'm kind of fascinated by him. I've heard all these stories. I've heard like behind the scenes in that locker room that he's this amazing locker room guy. That he kind of kept guys in check.

Alex
Yes. He'd be a fascinating study, right?

Ravi
I heard he was kind of like a dog in the back room. Like he kind of checked a lot of the guys, even though -- even at the end of his career, when he was older, that he kind of put guys in their place and like, this is the way we're doing it.

Alex
No, he did. He did.

Shane
No, he's pretty universally respected by every guy I played with, which is rare. I don't know anybody who had anything bad to say about UD..

Ravi
You know one thing, I was thinking about if we do end up talking to him, I think that one of the topics for me is going to be the value of the respect of your peers, which is just sort of when you go through anything professional, I think people have the wrong goals because I think the thing that you want at the end is just the respect of your peers. No matter what, that to me is the thing that actually -- it's the most valuable external piece of feedback. I think he has that. People respect him, I think.
