Scribe is the presenting sponsor of this episode of Making Media and the magic behind the Colossus transcripts. One of the best decisions we made at Colossus was transcribing all of our audio into a searchable transcript library. We had been using another provider up until the summer of 2022 but we were constantly having issues with accuracy if our audio was just the slightest bit impaired. Whether it's training sessions, internal Q&As, or for media purposes, the value of transcripts is huge. And we are not alone. Scribe is the transcription service that powers all of S&P Global - like CapIQ - and the client list includes our friends at Tegus. Wall Street’s Art Critic

Introduction

Matt. R: Welcome back to Making Media. Today, we have the Wall Street wonder Matt Levine. Matt's Bloomberg column money stuff has become the must read for most of finance friends. Most of the finance community. It's that rare place where you get laughter, you get learning and you get complex topics. During the conversation, we talked with Matt about his ability to translate those complex topics.

How his early legal career at Wachtell, Lipton and then his banking career at Goldman Sachs have played a role in this success. And we just cover a ton of topics in terms of what's going on in the markets today, the overall regulatory structure, some very abstract questions. Please enjoy this conversation with Matt Levine. Matt, pumped to have you here. Thanks for joining us. We were kicking around where to start.
