Introduction

Ravi
We're talking about what makes a great coach today.

Shane
Great players.

Alex
Yes, exactly.

Shane
No lie. No lie. It was so illuminating. We can get into the coaches I've played for, but an embarrassment of Hall of Fame coaches, all right? And maybe the most sage that I learned from, I was actually -- the walking encyclopedia of basketball, Hubie Brown. He came in, took over a Memphis Grizzlies team that won 23 games a year before and transformed us into a playoff team.

So Hubie, for those who don't follow basketball, has forgotten more about basketball than all of us know combined. I mean the guy is just -- he's still on TV. He's 90 years old and he's like a grandpa to me, the closest thing that I ever had to a grandpa. And his little nuggets of wisdom were unbelievable. And probably the greatest clinician in the game of basketball the world has ever seen.
